Avior operates two manufacturing facilities in Quebec, Canada. The Laval metal facility specializes in sheet metal detail fabrication and sub-assemblies. It has full capabilities in sheet metal hydro-forming, brake-forming and 3 Axis CNC machining.
The Granby facility manufacturers composite details and sub-assemblies with specialization in high temperature composite graphite materials, thermoformed products, as well as acrylic transparencies and structures.

In July, 2002, the management team of the Quebec operations of Avcorp Industries led by Mr. Stephen Kearns, made a successful bid to acquire the two facilities in Laval and Granby. Mr. Kearns, a seasoned executive and voted one of 1996’s Top 40 under 40, changed their name and Avior was born.
Avior has received national recognition for its employees’ creativity and recognition. In 1994, the company received the 1994 Gold Medal Canadian Productivity Award - Entrepreneur category for innovative use of IT systems with production personnel resulting in improved productivity. This Canada-wide award is sponsored by Canadian Business Magazine.
