AIRCRAFT SHEET METAL FABRICATION

Our aircraft sheet metal fabrication capabilities provide a unique value proposition for our customers. We offer very competitive pricing that benefits from extensive automation and robotics and superior program management business processes resulting in performance excellence.

The sheet metal fabrication line is fully integrated with all steps in the manufacturing process being processed in-house. This approach allows for the optimization of production flow and part tracking. Portions of the production line are automated and all work instructions are digital allowing for a paperless manufacturing environment. A core competency for sheet metal details is very complex hydro-form parts with compound contours.

Sheet Metal Capabilities

The sheet metal production line can support parts up to 72 inches in length with material thicknesses ranging from .008 to .250 in thickness. Aluminum is the predominant material as Avior possesses Nadcap approvals to perform a variety of heat treatment protocols. We also provide numerous forming and trimming solutions through our brake press bending center, hydro-forming department, and CNC trimming department.

Avior supports the inspection of sheet metal components through processes like portable scanning inspection, probing and laser scan, hardness, and conductivity and FPI. Details are then processed through our finishing line that includes conversion coating application, boric & sulfuric anodizing, and a painting department.
