A defining cornerstone of Avior’s vision is our commitment to advancing new technologies and innovations that improve our competitiveness and services for our customers. Our technology and innovation projects are also aligned with our goal to invest in technologies that reduce our carbon footprint.
We have defined several strategies to accelerate our transformation to provide added value for our customers. This includes the establishment of a new research and development division called ACE (Automation Center of Excellence), an engineering group focused on value engineering projects to reduce cost and weight for our customers and provide them direct access to our laboratory testing and inspection services.
Our innovation strategies are not just about equipment and automation. We have shifted towards digital business processes and real-time analytics. We have leveraged the wealth of data in our Carina ERP system to provide our management the tools to analyze their business and facilitate agility and speed in decision making.
Design &
Engineering
We provide in-house design and engineering services. These services include tooling design as well as value engineering projects that focus on cost and weight reduction opportunities. The engineering team also works closely with our customers in developing new products including providing proof of concept prototypes.
Testing and Inspection Services
Avior has an extensive in-house laboratory and testing capabilities for both composites and metal product lines. These capabilities along with our customer certifications and approvals for Boeing, Bombardier, Airbus and BellFlight provide a qualified resource for a wide range of services.
