Avior is an integrator of lightweight aircraft structures and mechanical assemblies. We leverage our full-service in-house fabrication capability in metal and composite components to provide the most competitive and highest quality aircraft structures. Our culture is centered on providing performance excellence for our customers with strong program management business processes and a commitment to advancing new technologies and innovations to improve competitiveness.
We operate out of three locations with centers of excellence for Machining, Composites and Assembly manufacturing. Supporting the manufacturing business is our Automation Center of Excellence and our full-service aerospace materials testing laboratories and UT Inspections services. We operate out of different facilities but are unified and integrated as one company, one quality system and one ERP with standard processes and procedures.

We started as a Tier IV supplier of sheet metal details in 2002. In the last two decades, the company has evolved into an integrator of lightweight structures and flight critical mechanical assemblies through strategic acquisitions and investments in the latest technologies and the most talented people.
HISTORY
Avior was founded in 2002 through a management buyout led by Stephen Kearns. The company is a partnership of its employees with the Fonds de solidarité FTQ based in Quebec and Hay Island based in Connecticut. Our employees define who we are and their commitment has been to build a world-class Tier II supplier of aircraft structures.
Our customer base began with Bell Helicopter and Bombardier. We are proud to have these founding customers who remain an important base to our business today. We have now expanded the customer base to include world-class aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus, Northrop Grumman, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Spirit, Safran and Accurus all of which have contributed to our growth and development.
