Jean-Michel Biron
Vice President, Technology and Innovation
Jean-Michel Biron holds a mechanical engineering degree and started his career at Avior in 2011 as a method engineer at the Laval facility. In 2016 he was appointed the Director of the Montreal business unit where he oversaw the installation of Avior’s first automated production cell. In 2019 he and his team were instrumental in Avior being awarded the Small Business Technology Innovation” award by the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC). In early 2020 he started the ACE technology and innovation group and is now responsible for the technology transformation of our three manufacturing sites.
